Basic Stir Fry Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c fermented soy sauce
  • 1/2 c oyster sauce
  • 1/4 c Chinese cooking wine or sherry
  • 1/4 c tapioca starch
  • 1 T honey
  • 2 T sesame oil
  • 1.5 tsp red pepper flakes, use less or omit if you don't like spice
  • 1 clove garlic pressed- optional
  • 1 tsp ginger minced- optional
  • mix with water before adding to stir fry, 1:2 ratio

Instructions

  1. Mix ingredients and store in the fridge.  Feel free to be creative and add things like garlic, ginger, lime, etc. Add to stir fry at the end of cooking.
