Spring Cooking Session- Meal Time!
Thursdays, March 15-May 3rd, 3:30-5pm
This class is for kids of intermediate level and advance (average age 7-14). Kids need to be able to read recipes and feel comfortable with knives and stove top work, although both skills will be addressed within the session.
We will spend two weeks on each meal- breakfast, lunch, dinner and of course, dessert. Kids will learn how to make from scratch things like tortillas for quesadillas, sandwich bread with homemade peanut butter and jelly, pancakes and waffles, granola, homemade mac and cheese, chocolate truffles and more. Hopefully they will come home ready to prepare full meals for the family!
Hopefully we will have very young baby goats as well that will be great fun to play with.
This class won’t work well for kids with gluten allergies unlike the winter session. There will be one class with peanuts but the other classes will be peanut free. Please contact me about any other food allergies!
