This makes for a perfect snack between meals or during movie night! Garbanzo beans are high in fiber and are a great source of protein.  Your body will know what to do with the fiber and protein unlike processed fiber and protein bars that would not be considered Real Foods by Becky’s Mindful Kitchen standards.

 

Roasted Garbanzo Beans

Ingredients

  • Cooked garbanzo beans

Spices of your choice, I like

  • smoked paprika
  • cumin
  • unrefined sea salt
  • cayenne
  • chili powder
  • olive oil

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375
  • Make seasoning mixture and combine with beans and coat with olive oil. Spread onto a baking sheet (you may want to line it with foil for easy clean up) and bake until crispy.

Notes

This works as a perfect substitute for popcorn if you want something to munch on during a movie.
