April 4th 5pm-7:30ish
(clean up starts around 7:30, but you are welcome to stay and chat longer with one another or help clean!)
Cost: $100/pair. If you come with a friend you must still buy one registration and work out splitting the cost on your own. Because there is a game that requires knowing the other person, you have to come with someone that you have known for a minimum of 7 minutes and 27 seconds.
Food: Dinner will be provided, gluten free and dairy free options and vegetarian and meat options. I’m leaning towards Italian or Mexican for the cuisine but not committing yet. If it’s a big deal to you- please contact me before registering. I will provide water, coffee and tea as always but please bring drinks of choice if you would like something else.
We love watching the games played on Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and decided to use those as inspiration for a night of fun food related competition. There will be around 3 different challenges/games. Some will be between you and your partner. Others will involve working in teams of people (if you wish to come with other couples and team up- that is totally fine!). One challenge will involve proving just how well you know your partner/friend. Consequence of getting an answer wrong will be food related and hilarious- Tonight Show Inspiration: hot wings challenge and best friend game . Another challenge will involve completing a recipe- sound easy? The Tonight Show inspiration of this challenge is the Whisper Challenge…to give you an idea of what may be involved. There will also be a Nailed It! challenge but not just your standard Nailed It! challenge but instead one that depends on your team relaying the correct description of the cookie decoration- let’s see how good of reception telephones get out here… The challenges will be put through test rounds between now and April 4th and evolve as people send in their ideas. The ones above just are a starting point to give you an idea of what could happen. But what will happen- is an evening full of laughter and a lot of fun interacting with old and new friends. The chance to not just sit on a couch and watch others let loose and enjoy the pure joy of being goofy but to throw caution to the wind and try something new.
