July 24th 1-4 pm
Ages 10 and up. $100/child
There is a 8 child minimum for the camp to run
The weather looks perfect this weekend for a pop up camp and my resident fire fighter/husband/ BMK archery instructor has generously agreed to spend a rare weekend day off teaching kids archery and life saving first aid skills. I will also be introducing the kids to some of the mindfulness, bullying behavior and leadership topics that will be covered in the BMK Mindful Leader Course offered this year for teens.
This is a value packed 3 hour camp, kids will learn CPR and how to properly apply tourniquets along with basic knife/hatchet safety. (During the Leader course, kids will have the opportunity to be certified in CPR) We will also cover archery, with an expanded archery range being built this week along with new targets (including a 3D deer for those interested in hunting), higher level bows and arrows, kids will learn the basics of archery and get ample practice time. They can also spend time with the goats and chickens!
Please send your child with proper clothing and footwear (NO OPEN TOED SHOES), water bottle, snack and mask. Kids will primarily be mask free but masks are required when inside for the bathroom, treehouse and certain activities. This camp is going to be limited to 12 kids to allow for maximum hands on practice/instruction, so if you wish to have your child attend with a friend- please send them this link ASAP!
Finally- remember to sign up for the Baby Goat Camp waitlist and if you would like to be notified about the Mindful Leader course when it is open for registration- please click HERE to sign up for the Email/waitlist. I am unsure of the structure of the course or if I will simply do individual classes. If you have a preference, you are more than welcome to add it to the notes when you sign up!
