Easy Fudge

Author Becky's Mindful Kitchen

Ingredients

  • 1 can sweetened condense milk
  • 3 cups chocolate chips (choose your favorite or a mix of different types)
  • 2 tsp Extract of choice OR you can add peanut butter, nutella, nuts, fruit zest, caramel, candy canes, candy bits... BUT if adding an extract and not candy flavor, have a little bit (like 1/4th teaspoon) of oil to mix with extract to help keep the fudge smooth while mixing.

Instructions

  • In a microwave safe bowl, mix chocolate chips and can of condensed milk. Microwave for 1-2 min, stir, and then heat in 20 sec intervals, stirring in between until chocolate is melted. Add in flavors of choice and pour into a parchment paper lined pan (size of pan dictates thickness of fudge, I usually do an 8x8 pan). If adding anything on top of fudge, do that now.
Let harden at room temp, fridge or even freezer depending on how quickly you need it done! Cut into pieces and enjoy! This recipe freezes great, otherwise I store it in the fridge for a few days and then transfer extras to the freezer.
You can also make this in a double broiler on the stove.
