Place steak in a container that will hold marinade and ginger. Pour vinegar and oil in a 1 to 1 ratio over steak along with ginger, salt and pepper so that all sides are coated in marinade. Let sit for 30 minutes- a few hours. If you are cooking steaks right away, marinate at room temp, otherwise marinate in the fridge. Bring steaks to room temp before grilling for about 4-5 minutes per side.
