Basic Biscotti

Author Becky's Mindful Kitchen adapted from Paul Hollywood


  • 250 g All purpose flour
  • 250 g sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 3 eggs


  1. preheat oven to 300 degrees

    Mix all ingredients in a stand mixer and add flavors/variations.  

    Variations: 1c almonds sliced, 1/2c cranberries, zest of one orange

    pistachios and cherries and white chocolate chips

    Lemon zest and rosemary 

    chocolate chips

    Fennel and lemon and rosemary 

    white chocolate chips and orange zest 

    poppy seed and lemon.... options are endless 

    Divide into two logs and bake for about 25 minutes.  Remove and let cool until just warm to the touch and slice into thickness that you want and bake until slightly golden brown about another 7-10minutes, turn over and bake another 5-7 minutes. 

    They will harden as they cool.  You can store in freezer as well.
