Royal Icing
Ingredients
- 3 egg whites
- 1 tsp vanilla
- ~4 c powdered sugar
- pinch salt
- pinch cream of tarter
Instructions
- In a stand mixer beat egg whites vanilla, salt and cream of tarter until frothy. Mix in powdered sugar slowly until it reaches the consistency you like. Thicker allows more control with piping while thinner icing works well when drizzling over cakes and buns.
