Basic Easy Vanilla Cupcake

  • 2 c flour
  • 1 c sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 sticks butter soften
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 c buttermilk


  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Cream together butter and sugar. Add in salt and baking powder. Add in eggs one at a time. Mix in flour, vanilla and milk alternating until just combined. Fill cupcake wrappers or tins 3/4 full. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Cool completely before frosting.


Add in flavors, pipe in salted caramel, pipe in lemon curd, fruit, custard. Add cookie crumbles, coconut, carrot, zucchini.
