Mexican Chorizo Seasoning Mix
Ingredients
- Makes enough for ~1lb ground pork could be used for 2lbs if you don't like it as spicy/strong
- I let the meat sit with the seasoning worked in overnight but can be used right away.
- 1- 1 1/2 T Cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 2 tsp ground cloves
- 1 bay leave ground
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 T garlic powder
- 2 tsp coarse sea salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper
- 1 T smoked paprika
- 1 T paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne reduce to 1/4 if you don't like a lot of spice
- 3 T apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- Mix all of the spices together and then work into ground pork. Add vinegar and let sit over night or sauté right away until meat is cooked to temp.
