Lace Cookies (GF optional)


  • 1/2 c flour (can substitute GF 1:1)
  • 1/2 c sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch baking powder
  • 5 T melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (almond also tastes great)
  • 1/2 c oats
  • 2 T cream, milk, sour cream, yogurt
  • 2 T honey or light corn syrup


  1. Preheat oven to 375

    In one bowl combine flour, sugar, salt, baking powder. Add in remaining ingredients and stir until well combined.

    On parchment paper or baking mat, drop 1 tsp or so of the batter- spacing them a few inches apart.

    Bake for 6-8 min- the edges should just be starting to turn golden brown. Let cool for a min or so and then with a spatula remove. They should come off without effort. Let cool longer if they don't come off.
