Marshmallow Sauce (for ice cream)

  • 1 c marshmallows
  • 3/4 c sugar
  • 1/4 c whole milk or cream
  • 1 T honey
  • 1-2 tsp flavor of choice


  • Melt marshmallows in microwave and set aside.  In a saucepan, boil the milk, sugar and honey and then simmer for 5 minutes.  Pour marshmallows into sauce pan and over low heat beat with a hand held beater until sauce thickens ( a few minutes) and add in flavor.  Pour over ice cream, brownies, fudge or eat with a spoon!
