Boil water on stove or in microwave and set aside to cool for a few minutes. While it is boiling, comibine other ingredients except food coloring in a medium bowl. You can divide it into two or more bowls if you want to make small batches of different colors. Slowly add water and stir until a dough forms. Start with 1 cup of water and then add more if needed. Before adding more flour, let the dough sit and absorb all liquid first. Color: you can add the food coloring to the water or, if you dont mind hands turning color a bit, I like to add the color after the dough is formed and let kids see how it spreads thoughout as they knead the dough. This is especially fun with using more than one color. We'll go over this in the class too!
