Hollandaise Sauce

  • 3 -4 egg yolks at room temp
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • big pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1 stick melted butter
  • big pinch salt to taste


  • You will need an immersion blender for this recipe.
  • Melt butter. In a bowl or the large cup that comes with most immersion blenders, add yolks, lemon juice, cayenne and salt. Blend. Add melted butter and blend until sauce thickens. Adjust seasoning. And you are good to go!
