- 1 c flour
- 1/2 tsp coarse sea salt
- 1 stick cold butter cut into small pieces
- 3 T ice cold water
- 1.5 c whole milk
- 3 eggs beaten
- 1 tsp salt
herbs of choice
Cheese for topping ( your choice of cheese)
- Preheat oven to 400
- Mix together flour and salt in a medium bowl. Work in butter and water. Roll out dough. Lay into a 8.5 in or 9 in circular pan. Prick bottom of the dough with a fork.
- Mix together all ingredients in a medium bowl and add in herbs of choice.
- Pour custard into the crust and top with cheese. Bake for about 30 minutes until firm to the touch.
