Smoked Bacon Pepper Wax Beans

  • 1 bag wax beans, trimmed
  • 12 slices bacon
  • 2 medium spice peppers, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Harvest Olive Wood Smoked Oil
  • Sea salt to taste


  • Cook bacon either in the oven at 425 degrees or on the stove, set aside and drain.  Reserve a few tablespoons of the bacon fat and heat in a large cast iron skillet or pan.  Add a tablespoon or two of Harvest Olive Wood Smoked oil and saut√© the veggies until tender. Add chopped bacon.   Salt to taste.
